Broken Key Slot Replacement
I was taking out the dash from my e92 and I accidentally damaged the key slot holder to the point where I needed to replace it. Key still can be used but its finiky.
I ordered a used key slot unit off of ebay. From what I have seen, buying a new unit would not warrant any coding/ programming. Since mine is used off of another car, would I have issues with it working with my car? Any coding/ programming needed to marry it to my vehicle? Its coming in a few days so either way ill give it a shot, but I would rather know if anyone has insight. Thanks  |
