Frank responds very quickly to emails, for what it's worth.

I loved my Bimmerworld box but will say the TMS model would certainly be tempting at that price differential. IMO power gains are debatable given mine were in conjunction with Alpha-N and a built motor. Even if zero power gain the sound was worth the price.
Like some others, when looking at tunes I did not get a reply from TTFS. But that was 3 years ago. My experience with Epic was outstanding.

Randy has been great. I ended up buying some logging software that he recommended and I am going to use that to tweak the tune remotely. That said the base tune he gave me is running great... done two track days so far with it.

I have the Turner box on order, in fact it has shipped.
I’m also switching over to Josh at Severn. Sounds like a great guy to work with and knows his stuff. Randy was just too unreliable. |

Received it yesterday and fitted it up. Mine required a little trimming to clear the shock tower due my motor being back 3.25”. Otherwise it fit well. Clearance to the torque rod is tight, and my motor sits low, but this could also be due to the motor sitting farther back. Most of the ports I’m not using since I have a dry sump. I also already have the IAT mounted forward of the radiator in the intake tube. For the brake booster blow off valve, I’m going to use a small fuel filter on it and not bother with adapting it to the port on the top of the intake.
On the NAM3 forum some were reporting it arriving broken due to poor packing. They must have listened as mine came packed in expanding foam in a big box. So no damage. Build quality looks great! There was one resin drip on one of the trumpets that I filed down to keep it smooth. I also bought the silicone boots. These are nice and worth it. They use worm drive clamps, which I was using anyway, so be careful to allow clearance on cylinder 4 for the throttle rod. I plan to run the car this Sunday at Road A. Not really expecting a power gain until I have Josh tune it, but do hope to hear the intake. Although my exhaust is pretty loud! Hell, the whole car is a cacophony of sound...
