Coilover Rebuilders
My KW Clubsports (well one of them anyway) decide not to be a damper anymore.
My mechanic found out when we had the springs apart to remove the helper, when the camber plate simply drops and does not hold. Now its a gradual drop, but just means something internal is broken, after 6000 km! Odd, that I don't feel that its blown, i even manage to squeeze a full track day out after and it is holding up fine, maybe its the spring I was wondering if anyone has had a local indy shop in Ontario rebuild their coilovers. Been looking at Paragon Competition who rebuilds Ohlins and JRZ but haven't called yet. I am trying to avoid sending it back to California due to the lead times and of course, while it isn't costly to rebuild, the freight cost is going to be significant. Thanks!

I know of two shops in the GTA that rebuild Moton, JRZ, Penske,..
Auto Analyzer In Caledon and Paragon in Richmond Hill. Not sure if they do KW though, pretty sure if your KW’s need a rebuild, you may need to be sent in State side into KW. |

Guess I just have to call around and see. it shouldn't be rocket science and i highly doubt there's anything inherently impossible for another suspension tech company to work out.

Called Paragon, was basically told they service JRZ, Moton, in an attitude that sounds like I should shove my KW up my poor man's ass, so f them
Called Autoanalyzer, was a bit nicer, and was told they do not, and verbal exchange their diagnosis is that it sounds like I may need a nitrogen recharge. However, it certainly sounds like KW don't even have a rebuilder in Canada if it is more catastropic than just a nitrogen recharge. A little past research on other forums also shows they don't ship to us in Canada either. Really was hoping to keep the canadian dollar local.
