I really like the trim. Once I get rid of a vehicle or two, Id like another wagon as a daily. I'm gonna stick with N51/2 because we didn't get the other options here.
Looks nice!

Beautiful car. Interior is stunning. Only thing I could wish for would be sports front seats if it was mine.

That Sattelbraun leather on the interior trim is stunning! Top marks sir! How did you do it? Employ a specialist or DIY? And where did you source the leather?

DIY. I wrapped the trim on my previous E90, which was harder than I thought (to do it perfectly). So, I was a bit hesitant to do it again.
But I was offered this leather by a fellow E9X driver I know, so I bit the bullet and did it myself. It wasn't that hard and looks stunning. So, I'm not sure where to get this leather. Last edited by dutch79; 06-10-2025 at 04:21 AM.. |

Such a rad E91. Love it. I'm not biased though, no, no....hahaha
I have your twin, ish. 2012, N54 swap, 6MT, saddle brown interior. I have the diamond pattern aluminum trim, but have the original dark brown wood and have thought about doing something interesting with it, whether it be hydrodip with an interesting, cooler wood pattern. Hadn't thought about leather wrap, but that looks amazing. Did you wrap directly over original wood or aluminum trim, and how did you prep the trim for the leather, if at all? I assume it went on with a fairly straight forward contact adhesive as is so frequently used when wrapping with leather. I have to get some better pics. I have done a lot with this car since I purchased it last spring. 110k miles, and while none of it was "worn out", I wanted to update as much as possible to new. Some would say I have thrown money at it - I look at it as what I like to do so I'll spend my money how I want, and now underneath, it's like a new one, or better than new. Final things on my list are a LSD, which one, to be determined, and maybe a brake upgrade, not that the 335 brakes are poor. Wilwood actually makes a front and rear kit for these that is a direct bolt on and as brake kits like that go, is not too bad cost wise.

Nice twin brother/sister E91!
Pretty rare wheels. I forgot the Styling. BMW OEM, right? The leather was installed using contact adhesive/glue indeed. Right on the alu/silver trim. |

I like the style of the 513M, sick wheels. Apex - I know, I know, everyone has Apex... - but the VS-5RS is quite similar to the 513M, and I have been thinking the Motorsport Gold finish they have would look pretty rad on the ti silver.

I was planning on 18" APEX ARC-8's, but eventually bought the 513M's. Suits the lowered E91 quite well.

What did you end up doing with the read brakes - stayed as stock 335 equipped?
