I know and tried loosening the bolts with something like WD-40. It worked and made unscrewing way easier.
As for removing the body of a bolt without a head there is a method I used but I will add a disclaimer at the end. So the method is: chisel and hammer. Put a chisel on each side of the stubborn bolt and hit it (the chisel) with hammer it does loosen it and makes it much easier to remove.
Disclaimer: I have NOT used that method on a car and I would be scared, no point in hiding that.
I am going to call my Pa and see what he can say about it. I will get back to you if I have any other proven methods.
